The Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) is the busiest airport in the country and handles around half of all of the passenger traffic each year. The airport services approximately 8 million passengers every year.

Car Rental company desks are situated in the arrivals area of Terminal 1 towards the exits. Notice that desks may be situated on either side of the exits. Cars are situated on the Warsaw Airport premises.
To get to Warsaw from the airport, you will find that the airport is approximately 9 km from Warsaw and takes a mere 15 to 20 minutes by car.
After picking up the car get on Route 634 going toward Zwirki i Wigury. You will approach and go through 1 turning circle during this segment. Stay on Route 634 for about 6 km. You will see the cityscape of in the distance as you are driving. Finally, make a left and crossing over Wawelska, which is a very big 4 lane highway going in both directions. You'll be turning onto Andrzeja Krzyckiego. At this point you will be in the city.

- Royal Route – there are many places to see such as Wilanow Palace, the presidential palace and the campus at the University of Warsaw.

- Powazki Cemetery – A very old cemetery with full sculptures created by some of the most famous Polish artists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It's also been called the necropolis, because of the mixture of different religious and communities represented. Also, close by is the Okopowa Street Cemetery which is the biggest Jewish European Cemetery. This one is near the city center, so the car rental directions from the airport above will get you close.
