Stuttgart Airport Car Rental Information and Driving Directions.....
You'll find the selection of cars to choose from at the airport. You'll find each company located inside terminal 3 on the second level. Rental companies include Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.
To get to Stuttgart pretty easily from the airport. You can count on about a 15 km drive from the airport, taking around 15-20 minutes by rental car. After picking up the car you want to make your way out of the airport via the Flughafenstraße (or airport road). Stay on the highway for 3.8 km. Get onto the B27 Ramp traveling to Stuttgart. That's about it.
When returning your rental car, just reverse directions and travel back on B27. This is about the easiest directions in the world from a city airport to the city center. Remember to re-fuel your rental car before getting back to the airport. We generally recommend an OMV station not far from the entrance back into the airport area. It is situated by the parking decks and car rental area, and is open both day and night.
