Arriving at the Murcia airport in San Javier you have a few, limited transport options. With local bus connections running infrequently, taking a taxi or renting a car in Murcia will generally be your best options.

With Murcia being about 45 km away from the airport a rental car is a good option. This is true especially if your plans include seeing the lovely areas around from the southern Costa Blanca down to the Costa Calida and La Manga.
