Little Rock Airport Basics.....
The Little Rock Airport has been consistently serving over 2 million passengers every year for the last several years. With 115-120 arrivals and departures every day, it's no wonder why. With new services into Denver (Fall of 2011), and recent additions such as the Minneapolis-St. Paul service, the airport continues to expand, offering local passengers a lot of opportunity to travel the U.S, at a decent price.
Little Rock Airport Car Rental.....
Adams Field (Little Rock Airport) currently hosts eight car rental companies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. Each are nationally renowned rental car companies - famous for good service at good prices. All car rental desks will be found in the Arrivals area - not far from the baggage claim. I always recommend talking to your in-house car rental representative for directions out of the airport. Rental car companies are located on East Roosevelt Rd, which borders the airport.
Airport Amenities.....
Upon entering the Airport, you will have options to eat before checking in. Starbucks and The River Bend Bar & Grill will be available to would be passengers before going thru the security process. After security, another Starbucks, Andina's Coffee and Bagel and the Ouachita Brew House (why not give a little time to some Arkansas Microbrews?) will be available to passengers.
Of course, you will be able to shop at the News Exchange as well. There you can find something to read before boarding on your journey. With many airports charging for their Wi-Fi, you will be pleased to learn that the Little Rock Airport offers free this service, free of charge, to travelers on both sides of the security line.
Besides car rental, food and Wi-Fi, you will also find an ATM, Visitor Information Centers, and Artwork within the Adams Field facility. All told, this is a pretty decent airport, with a few things to do (and eat).
Car Rental Driving Distances.....
While visiting Little Rock (or nearby towns) you will find a few things to do to make your visit a positive one. We have put together a list of those things (and some nearby towns) and the car rental driving distance required to get there. These are only estimates.
