Eindhoven Airport Car Rental
The Eindhoven Airport is located less than 8 km from the actual city of Eindhoven. It is currently only behind the Schiphol Airport in terms of passengers served. In fact a little over 2 million passengers went thru the Eindhoven in 2011, with the trend continuing to increase over the last few years. 
There are four car rental companies that offer services at the Eindhoven Airport. These include Europcar, Avis, Hertz and Sixt. Each car rental company parks their vehicles near the front of the terminal. To locate your vehicle, you will walk out of the front of the terminal and walk toward your right, crossing at least one small airport road in order to acquire your vehicle.
To get to Eindhoven, you will exit out of the parking lot via a left turn and travel a few meters to a traffic circle where you will take the first exit to the right towards Eindhoven. Notice overhead blue signs directing you as well. Drive for about 1/2 km until the road splits to the right, and then veer right again onto Flight Forum Road in front of a rust-colored Deloitte building. The road will soon loop back to the left as you travel underneath an overpass, then merge into other traffic as you travel towards A2 (You're not going to travel ON A2, but will instead cross over the top of it). After merging into traffic, you will join Anthony Fokkerweg and will see a sign that says Eindhoven - Noord. Travel about 1.3 km until you get to Oirschotsedijk at a cluster of stoplights. Turn right and travel down a tree-lined small beautiful drive for about 2.2 km into the city center.
The fuel policy at the Eindhoven Airport is generally a 'full-full' policy - meaning that when you collect your vehicle it will have a full tank. When returning your vehicle, the tank will need to be full as well. To re-fuel, we generally recommend that you re-fill your tank as close as you can get to the airport. However, we don't know of any service stations near the Eindhoven Airport. So, we suggest that you fill up in Eindhoven before leaving the city.
Not far from the Eindhoven Airport is a Novotel Hotel. The hotel is fairly new, has a great breakfast (although very expensive to some) and has an outdoor pool to boot. Throw in a nice, efficient staff and you've got yourself a pretty good choice for an airport hotel. I don't think the hotel currently offers a shuttle to or from the airport, but you might want to check just to make sure. The room is 100% non-smoking, and has Wi-Fi access. To get to the hotel, simply travel out towards Eindhoven as above, except you will turn right off of Anthony Fokkerweg less than 2 km from the airport terminal. The turnoff will be right after going under a few stoplights. 
From cheap rentals for 20-30 Euros per day to higher-priced minivans for 60-100 Euros per day, you'll most likely find what you're looking for. Manual shift is more popular than automatics and smaller cars more popular than bigger cars.
