You're here because you'd like to rent a car in Adelaide. Why? Well, there's quite a bit to do here in Adelaide. For starters, we've listed a few.
Cleland Conservation Park
The park is an area that offers protection services for a variety of living things - it is not like a traditional zoo. The area preserves a lot of bushland around the Adelaide area and offers a pretty neat experience for travelers thru the Adelaide area. The enclosures don't really feel like enclosures and they are spacious enough to allow you to see (and sometimes feed) the animals without having hoards of people around. The Park is also very near Mount Lofty, which offers breathtaking views of the Adelaide area.
Art Gallery of South Australia
This gallery has a wonderful collection of aboriginal art and colonial Australian art. There is also an Asian collection that is really nice. For a city of only 1.2 million, it's very well done. The Saatchi exhibit was brought to Adelaide in summer of 2011. The exhibit will be available to all comers and will present about 150 different works. Paintings, pictures and sculptures will be available for viewing. This exhibit will be the largest on the premisis of the Art Gallery of South Australia coving over 3/4ths of the area.
National Railway Museum Port Adelaide
A volunteer-developed facility, (and probably aided by grants from the government), have done an wonderful job. It is easy to reach by TransAdelaide train via the "Outer Harbour", with Adelaide's very inexpensive fares, at least by Australian standards.
